Your adventure will take you to some of Africa’s premier game parks including Lake Manyara N.P, Serengeti N.P, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire

Day 1: Nairobi Airport to Arusha

Today you will be picked up from the airport and be transferred to Arusha for overnight with a private safari van.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara national park for full day game drives with packed lunches then dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Lodge/Campsite.  Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions are another reason to pay this park a visit. The only kind of their species in the world, they make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias their home during the rainy season, and are a well-known but rather rare feature of the northern park. In addition to the lions, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world a fact that makes for interesting game viewing of large families of the primates.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years.

Day 4:  Serengeti National Park – Seronera Area

Full days in Serengeti plains, search for wild game /trailing the wildebeest migration herds/predators. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Lodge/ Campsite at Seronera area in the heart of the Serengeti. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants.

Day 5:  Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Morning game viewing drives then return to the lodge/campsite for breakfast , proceed further game drives as you exit the park and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area via any Maasai boma but this is optional for those who are interesting to see the Maasai warriors dancing and singing not only singing and dance but you will also have a chance to learn the way Maasai lives together and close with the wild animals including large predators of the Ngorongoro Crater and aggressive buffaloes, take a chance to take as many pictures as possible and support them through buying the handmade souvenirs.

Day 6:  Ngorongoro Crater – Tararangire National Park

After an early morning breakfast will descend down to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the wonders of the natural world. An extinct volcano that collapsed around 25 million years ago thus is forming a vast super bowl where the largest permanent concentration of African game is on display. The views from the top of the crater wall are absolutely breathtaking which are forested but four wheel drive vehicles will take you down into this primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp and plain that shelters around 20,000 animals. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depends on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black-manned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck and the few black rhino that have taken refuge here. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingoes and is a favorite place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden. The game drives are done with picnic lunch.

Day 7:  Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, leisurely game drives at Tarangire National Park, go back to the Lodge/Camp for hot lunch and have a nappy for few hours before drives back to the park for the evening game view, you will have a chance to take great pictures of the sunset behind the baobabs and the beautiful river Tarangire. Tarangire National Park, one of the hidden jewels of Tanzania. This park measures 2,600 sq km’s and boasts a concentration of wildlife second only to Ngorongoro Crater.

It features an impressive amount and array of bird life and plant life. Situated only 160km’s from Arusha, the park is nestled to the south of the large open grass plains of southern Maasai land. It is named after the Tarangire River, which runs directly through the center of the park and is the only permanent water source for the animals. Along the banks of this river you will find herds of wildebeest (or gnu) and zebra, followed by Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle and many others. Lurking in the background lion and leopard keep a watchful eye on a possible meal. The park offers views of grass and floodplains with impressive baobab and flat topped acacia trees scattered throughout. During the dry season the park may look quite ordinary, but activities continue even more earnestly due to the now increased competition.

Day 8: Depart Tarangire (B)    2-3 hrs drive  250kms

After breakfast we will transfer back to Arusha for your fight to Zanzibar  ,In the afternoon arrive Zanzibar airport/ harbour transfer to Stone Town Hotel  for check inn, at 2:30pm have the Stone town tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, Visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (cultural centre) to Maruhubi Palace ruins via Living Stone House.

Day 9 and 10, 11:

Today you will be free to relax at your hotel Zanzibar resort

Day 12:

Morning at 8:30am trip to spice and botanical tour on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and visit to Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia), and then transfer to harbour/ airport for departure for your flight to Nairobi or Daresalam
