Nairobi – Amboseli – Tsavo East –Tsavo West

The 4 days Nairobi Amboseli Tsavo Safari takes you to see the highest peak in Africa sitting pretty above the Big Five Animals while they sip cool fresh waters of the Kilimanjaro. The elephants will give you good company as they strut along your safari vehicle so close you can see their amber coloured eyes.

An occasional brush with a rhino is Tsavo west under the Ngulia hills in some everglades will culminate with sighting of Kenya’s red elephants of the Tsavo. The lions of Tsavo national park are infamous and behind the man eaters of Tsavo saga where 4 of these brutes ate through 400 Indian railroad workers in a single year. Live through the dramatic tales of the African wilderness as your driver guide keeps you mesmerized with exciting stories and views of the best of kenya’s natural theatre.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

Your safari will start with a morning pick up after breakfast by our driver guide for the start of safari. You will drive south west of Nairobi towards the Mt Kilimanjaro which you can see from miles away. Enjoy the views enroute of the Masai way of life and the many hills and plains and an occasional gifraffe and antelopes. Arrive at Amboseli national park in time for lunch and check into the Amboseli Serena or the Oltukai/Sopa Lodge. Enjoy a buffet lunch and later a siesta to relax from the road trip.

Evening game drive at 4:00pm after a refreshing cup of Kenyan coffee. Look out for the elephant herds, the lions, leopards, hippos, buffalos, giraffes, cheetahs and hundreds of other animals. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Meal Plan L,D

Day 2: Amboseli

Full day will be spent in Amboseli national park looking for the elusive cheetahs and lions as well as other animals. The lake Amboseli and Observation hill are a must to visit and see the park from a vantage point. You will have two game drives on this day returning to lodge for lunch and an evening game drive as well. The views of Kilimanjaro are best early in the morning and you will marvel at the majesty that is the Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Amboseli Tsavo West

On this day, you will go on an early morning game drive after breakfast and depart the park at 10:00am for Tsavo West national Park. You will go through some of the most scenic volcanic landscape dotted with Blue Mountains, lava flows that look like a lunar landscape and meadows with green grass. Visit the Mzima springs to see its crystal clear waters that appear from the underground rivers of the chyulu hills.

Check into your lodge Ngulia/Kilaguni and enjoy a great lunch. Later go on an evening game drive and dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal Plan: B,L,D

Day 4: Tsavo West – Tsavo East

Wake up early with a morning coffee for an early game drive to see the lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos as they wake up and other hunt. Enjoy a great morning game drive in the cool morning air. Later return to lodge at 8:00am for breakfast and depart at 10:00am for the Tsavo East National Park.

Arrive in Tsavo East and check into Voi Safari Lodge and have a hot sumptuous buffet lunch where you get to select your choice delicacies. Relax in your room or by the terrace as you watch the Red coloured elephants drink water at the waterhole in the front of the lodge. Evening game drive at 4:00pm until dusk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal Plan: B,L,D
